Job Description

Currently, we are seeking qualified candidates for a Manager of Talent Analytics opening to join our HR Reporting and Analytics team remotely or in Benton Harbor, MI. You will be responsible for providing leadership in deriving insights about our global workforce of 92,000 employees through establishing sound data management and analysis principles. The position requires strong, broad, progressive functional capabilities in data management and HR analytics in the areas of Engagement analysis, turnover analysis, organizational design, employee movements, learning, and development program evaluation, diversity modeling, workforce planning, as well as other methods of assessment of culture and HR practices. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical leadership abilities, exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills and demonstrate the ability to derive and communicate meaningful data-driven insights.

Under the direction of the Head of Global Talent Analytics, you will lead the effort to take Whirlpool to the next level of talent analytics deployment globally. You will work alongside each center of expertise (COE), business HR, HR operations team, and the global HR reporting team to provide meaningful insights in order to improve the culture and outcomes of our organization.

Job Responsibilities

  • Establish both long term and short term data model for analysis
  • Provide analysis support for various initiatives across HR
  • Lead an analytic education effort among HR professionals
  • Serve as local point of contact for the Success Factors Workforce Analytics and Planning suite
  • Establish productive relationships with cross-functional partners such as Operations, Human Resources, Marketing, etc. including but not limited to the ability to influence others
  • Lead the data quality strategy for the global HR organization
  • Focus on the long term and short term shareholder, customer and employee value

Skill Requirements

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years work experience in human resources or data science or data analytics

Preferred Requirements

  • Degree concentration in human resources, data science or data analytics
  • Experience working for a company utilizing cutting edge analytic practices in the human resources space
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and teamwork skills with all levels of management
  • Advanced skills and experience working with Excel and/or Google Sheets
  • Experience with R, Python, JMP, or similar statistical packages
  • Experience with Tableau desktop and server or similar visualization software
  • Self-starter; initiate and drive actions for process improvements
  • Motivated to take ownership of problems and drive the organization to a resolution
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities within tight deadlines
  • Understand the key drivers of the business to see beyond the numbers
  • The constructive challenge of the status quo
