Marketing Operations Specialist

This position, reporting to the Chief Operations Officer, will set up, track and report on marketing programs for client companies. The ideal candidate will have experience implementing trigger-based communications, general email campaigns, reporting and data cleansing programs.

Qualified applicants should have proficiency in Marketo (or other similar marketing automation platform, ideally HubSpot) and CRM systems (ideally Salesforce.com).

Core Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain scalable processes that ensure best practices in campaign and lead management in systems including but not limited to Marketo, Salesforce and HubSpot
  • Provide recommendations that enhance future lead and campaign performance
  • Provide best practices to client engagements that aid in the strengthening of marketing and sales process and performance
  • Manage technical aspects of key marketing systems (marketing automation, CRM) use to generate, distribute and report on leads
  • Participate in client projects in a distributed environment
  • Set up email campaigns, provide QA and support ongoing testing
  • Document processes and procedures for client marketing efforts and programs
  • Cleanse lists, and raise and fix data issues with client approval
  • Build landing pages and forms using pre-built templates
  • Build marketing reports on campaign performance

Skill Requirements

  • 5-10+ years of experience managing marketing campaigns, creating reports and ensuring data hygiene
  • Experience with marketing automation tools (ideally Marketo, Salesforce.com and HubSpot) in a B2B environment, preferably within an agency, media company or technology organization
  • Must be comfortable working in a distributed team environment and be able to collaborate well with a team of consultants in a remote environment
  • Desire to work on multiple client projects
  • Organized and able to manage project tasks independently, meeting deadlines and objectives for each
  • Great interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
