Recruiting Coordinator – Product and Engineering

Job Description

Reporting to the Sr. Director Product and Engineering Operations you will manage the end-to-end recruiting and coordinating process for the worldwide engineering and products organization. As a Recruiting Coordinator for Engineering & Products , you will work closely and serve as a liaison between candidates, hiring manager, HR and finance.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Manage recruiting coordinator responsibilities and be liaison between HR and Engineering, Products and Finance
  • Coordinate interviews and collaborate with candidates and hiring managers in scheduling
  • Coordinating phone, onsite and video interviews for candidates
  • Tracking all recruiting activities
  • Maintain and update applicant tracking system in Workday
  • Communicate with candidates during the entire recruitment process
  • Working closely with the Head of Recruitment, all levels of managers and delivering a high level of communication, professionalism and attention to detail
  • Coordinate and book candidate travels and process travel reimbursement
  • Assisting Head of Recruitment with documentation of process and ensuring the most efficient and effective roll-out of that process
  • Helping to collect necessary paperwork from candidates as needed
  • Assisting in the coordination of other recruiting activities as needed

Recruiting/HRBP Responsibilities

  • Develop strong relationships with managers to understand their current teams and hiring needs
  • Responsible for setting up a recruiting strategy on the best way to find and attract qualified candidates
  • Source using social media, direct email contact, personal networks, outside agencies and other creative solutions
  • Sell and screen candidates via phone to understand if they are interested in DataStax and a fit for the position
  • Ensure that the interview process is a smooth experience for hiring managers and candidates
  • Work with hiring managers to understand leveling of candidate and internal equity to execute on a win-win offer
  • Work with hiring managers to successfully close candidates
  • Hand-off candidate to HR for On-boarding

Skill Requirements

  • 3+ years in high-tech recruiting and coordinating
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Proven experience with reporting
  • Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth start-up a plus
  • Experience in large, established organization also a plus
  • Bachelors/Masters degree desired, equivalent work experience okay
